How can members of a "section" see who else is part of their group?
The "Email" tool, which allows students to send email to their whole section, will also let them view the names of the students in their section or any other section of your course.
I learned how to use "Section Info" to create my own sections for grouping students together. I enabled the "Students can sign up for sections" option, but my students can only sign up for ONE section. How can I allow them to sign up for more than one group?
Students can only sign up for one section of a particular category. However, you have five categories available to you (Discussion, Lab, Lecture, Recitation, Studio), so as a workaround you can create up to five sections, one of each category type, amongst which your students could sign up for any combination.
When creating sections, there is a drop down menu that goes up to 10 sections. Is this a limit in the system?
You are only limited to creating ten sections at single time. After you have created your first ten section, you can repeat the process again and again creating up to ten more at a time until you have created however many that you need.
