How can I move my WebCT courses to T-Square? Do I have to start over?

No, you do not have to start over. CETL has tools for migrating Tests and Content Modules. For other tools and files, you should contact CETL for the best strategies for your courses. For the migration tools and instructions, please see the CETL WebCT Migration Page

I have not been able to successfully import a module from Webct into T-Square using the CETL migration tool. When I click on the webct zip file icon at the bottom of the page I get a blank gray screen in the center of the CETL tool page and it sits there.

The CETL migration tools must be on your local drive along with the files they are migrating. Many departments use a network drive and this creates the effect you described.

Can you just transfer whole classes from WebCT to T-Square? Do I have to do this piece by piece?

There is no way to migrate an entire WebCT course to T-Square. However, we have written programs to migrate Content Modules and Tests from WebCT. For other items in WebCT, consult with CETL instructional designers for time saving strategies.
