I created two guest user accounts and I was able to add one as a participant on my site, but I was unable to add the other. T-Square gives me an error saying that the username is not valid, even though the user is able to log into Passport with that username.
The most likely case you is that you simply inadvertently forgot to select the "T-Square Access" option when creating the second account. To give the second guest account T-Square acces, go back to PASSPORT and select the Manage Guest Accounts, and from there update the account that can not login to T-Square.
I created a T-Square worksite and I want to add a group of users to the site. I know their names and/or their email addresses, but have no way of determining their GT Account Usernames. How can I easily add them all to my worksite?

Are there other ways that I can get a user's GT Account Username?

If you have access to AFACTS or MAGE, you can look up GT Account Usernames through either of those tools. However, the easiest course of action may be to simply ask your users to send you their GT Account Usernames.
