FAQ: Email Archive Tool

I am trying to send emails to my course worksite from my regular email account, but I'm getting them bounced back to me with an error message.
The mostly likely reason for not being able to send email to a T-Square course worksite is not sending an email from an "approved" email address. To see the email addresses that are associated with your T-Square user account, login to the T-Square Management Tools. On the first page, you will see the list of email addresses from which T-Square will accept email. If you are using an address that is not on this list, then you will need to contact your local CSR to have your primary email address updated to reflect the address that you wish to use to send email to T-Square.

There is an alternative. On the "Options" page of the "Email Archive" tool, you can change the settings of your archive to accept email from "Anyone". The upside to this is that you don't have to worry about making sure that the email address you send course emails from matches what T-Square is expecting. The downside to this setting is that *anyone* can send emails to your entire class, meaning that it would be possible for your class to start getting spam relayed via T-Square.

Another solution for sending emails to your class is to simply use the T-Square "Email" tool, which lets you compose emails within T-Square. This tool has its own limitations, but it can be a feasible workaround if you are having continued troubles sending emails to your worksite's email archive.
