Who can use T-Square?
Anyone within the Georgia Tech community including Instructors, Students, Staff, and Alumni can use T-Square. In addition, guests of anyone within the Georgia Tech community can be given limited access to T-Square.
Who can create sites in T-Square?
All faculty, staff and students are allowed to create their own worksites. Guests, however, are not allowed to create sites.
How do I log in to T-Square?
Logging into T-Square is as easy as 1-2-3:

  1. Go to: http://t-square.gatech.edu/
  2. Select the "Login" button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
  3. Enter your GT Account Username and GT Account Password where indicated.

If you do not see any of your courses and you have multiple roles on campus (e.g. student and departmental employee), then make sure you are using a GT Account Username that is associated with your academic role. This may not necessarily be the same account you use to access WebCT.

I'm getting either a blank page or the message "The Requested Resource (/sakai-logon-tool/) is not available" when I try to login to T-Square.
99% of the time, this comes from improperly bookmarking the T-Square website. Please be aware that you can not bookmark the actual login page - if you do so and try to use that bookmark later on, you will get the error listed above.

If you do want to create a bookmark that will take you directly to the login page, go to the main T-Square web page (http://t-square.gatech.edu/), then drag the 'Login' button to the bookmarks or favorites area of your web browser. After the bookmark has been created this way, you can rename it and/or move it to wherever you would like it to be within your bookmarks collection.
I am a student and one of my courses is not showing up in my My Workspace area. How can I get access to that course's worksite?
First, contact your instructor and make certain that s/he is using T-Square for your course and that s/he has published the worksite. If s/he has not published the worksite, then you will not see any listing for that course in your My Workspace area.

If the course worksite has been published, but it is still not visible in your My Workspace area, then check your schedule in OSCAR to make certain that you are officially registered for that course. If you are, then open a Remedy Request and the T-Square support staff will look into the problem for you.
I am a teaching or instructional assistant and one of my courses is not showing up in my My Workspace area. How can I get access to that course's worksite?
All teaching assistant assignments are done by the individual course instructor. You will need to contact your instructor and ask him/her to add you to the appropriate worksites.
I am an instructor and one of my courses is not showing up in my My Workspace area. How can I get access to that course's worksite?
All instructor assignments are taken directly from Banner/OSCAR. The first thing you need to do is check with your local scheduling administrative staff to make certain that you have been assigned in Banner to the course in question. If not, then they will need to assign you to that course in Banner, and then within twenty-four hours you should gain access to the associated course worksite in T-Square.

If you determine that you have been properly assigned to the course in Banner, then open a Remedy Request and the T-Square support staff will check the status of your course and either get you set up in it or let you know what you need to do to get access to it.
I am an instructor preparing to set up an team-taught class, but my co-instructor is in out of town until right before classes start. Would you please add me as an instructor for his sections?
Only the administrative staff in each department that enters courses into Banner can add an additional instructor to an official course. Contact that person in your department if you are supposed to be the official instructor of a course but you are not seeing that course listed in your My Workspace area. Please also be aware that you can only combine courses in which you are listed as an instructor.
