Bulk User Add

The T-Square Management Tools are a set of utilities that exist outside of the T-Square application. Their purpose is to help instructors handle certain common tasks in a quick and efficient manner. These tools can be accessed from the Help page inside of T-Square, or from the URL given in the instructions below.

While T-Square allows you to add participants to a worksite if you know their GT Account Usernames, it is not able to look up users by any other identifier. For those cases where you need to add a user and you do not know the person's GT Account Username, or when you need to add a large number of users easily to a project site, you can use the Bulk Add Users utility in the T-Square Management Tools

How to use the Bulk Add Users tool:

  1. Go to the T-Square Management Tools
  2. Log in with your GT Account Username and Password.
  3. Select the "Bulk Add Users" button.
  4. Select the worksite you wish to add users into
  5. On the next page, enter one of the following identifiers for one or more users (one user per line):
    • GT Account Username
    • GTID#
    • GT Email Address
    • Last Name
    • First and Last Name
  6. On the next page, verify that the system found the right person for each identifier that you entered. The name given for each identifier is a drop-down list of potential users. If the first one shown is not the right person, check the rest of the list to see if the right person is listed. If none of the options are right, simply select "--Skip This User--" to ignore that person. You can then continue with adding the rest of the users who were identified correctly, and then you can go back into the tool later to try to properly identify the users whom you had to skip.
  7. On this same page, you need to assign a role for each user. If you want to give the same role to all users, then just select that role from the "Set For All:" drop-down menu box
  8. Select the 'Continue' button to add all of the users that were not skipped with the roles you indicated.
